VISITING @kunsthallelissabon Lisbon / PT 2020 - NAVE VERMELHE Ad Minoliti @minoliti 16.9.-21.11.2020 @kunsthallelissabon Lisbon / PT - Curators Luis Silva @luis2346 Joao Murao @joaofelixmourao - Private tour with Curator of Kunsthalle Lissabon Alberta Romano @alberta_romano_ - Kunsthalle Lissabon presents Nave Vermelhe [Red Ship], the first solo show in Portugal by Argentinian artist Ad Minoliti. Ad Minoliti is an artist whose work combines the pictorial language of geometric abstraction with a fanciful interpretation of queer and feminist theory. Nave Vermelhe is an installation that invites visitors to the Kunsthalle Lissabon to enter a queer and alien vehicle of space exploration. - Kunsthalle Lissabon is a non-profit art space that opened in Lisbon in 2009. The contemporary art institution carries out its activities mostly, but not exclusively, within the cultural dynamics of Lisbon. Indeed, and in spite of having a German name, the Kunsthalle Lissabon is not based on a German-speaking country; its working structure, logistics, staff, financial resources, etc., would hardly ever fulfil the expectations of a conventional, modern-day Kunsthalle. From this point of view, and regardless of any arguments to the contrary, the Kunsthalle Lissabon is a hoax. - #kunsthalle #kunsthallelissabon #nonprofit #artspace #artinlisbon #artinportugal #adminoliti #independentart #sightspecificart #queerart #feministart #industrialenvironment #popculture #installationart #independentartprojects #independentartist #adminoliti #albertaromano #jasminglaab #lisbon #lisbonart #lissabon #lissabonart #luissilva #joaomurao

VISITING @padastudios Barreiro / PT — O QUE NÃO TEMOS PODEMOS CRIAR 26.9.–31.10.2020 @padastudios Barreiro / PT — Curators Kasia Sobczak Wroblewska @po.prostu Diana Cerezino @diana.cerezino Tim Ralston @tim.ralston — Works by Luisa Jacinto / PT @jacintoluisa Diego da Cruz / PT @diogovonkreuz Joao Ferro Martins / PT @joaoferromartins Emma Hornsby / UK Erris Huigens / NL @deconstructie In Limen / PT @in_limen — PADA presents the exhibition ‘O Que Não Temos Podemos Criar’, a collective exhibition that brings together ten national and international artists. Working within the old TINCO paint factory in Baía do Tejo, ‘O Que Não Temos Podemos Criar’ presents works in a wide range of media, the artists responding to the history of the site, the contemporary realities of the ruins but also imagining what the future may hold for the area. — PADA is an artist-led, non-profit arts organisation based in Barreiro in Lisbon’s South Bay, founded in 2018. Set in a derelict industrial park with history dating back to 1885, PADA offers artists time and space to develop their practice through the exploration of technique and process. As a cultural resource, PADA promotes interaction between national and international artists, the local community and surrounding region via our Residency, Studio & Gallery Programmes. — #artisrun #artistruninitiative #artinlisbon #artinportugal #independentart #sightspecificart #shortusage #industrialenvironment #intervention #soundart #installationart #independentartprojects #independentartist
